Saint Mark’s Orthodox Mission is situated in Edendale, just outside of Pietermaritzburg, South Africa.  It belongs to the Archbishopric of Good Hope in the Patriarchate of Alexandria and All Africa.

The mission was established in 2000 and the Church of Saint Mark was built and consecrated in 2004. The mission seeks to be a centre for Orthodox liturgy, prayer, and teaching as we form a local Christian community that witnesses to God’s love for humankind.

The mission also partners with other local groups in seeking to serve those in need in the area around the mission.

This website is still a work-in-progress and more resource material and updates will be added before long.
